SI Systems Announces Three New Projects Totaling $3 Million
From Leading Farm Equipment Manufacturer, Drug Distributor and Major Government Agency

EASTON, PA — February 22, 2001 — SI Production and Assembly Systems, a branded division of Paragon Technologies Inc. (AMEX:PTG), a leading supplier of “smart” material handling solutions, including systems, technologies, products and services,, announced today that its received orders for major projects totaling over $3 million in the fourth quarter of 2000. These orders are from leading drug distributors, a major farm equipment manufacturer, and a U.S. government agency. The systems are state-of-the-art assembly and distribution materials handling systems.

The assembly system will be used in conjunction with specially designed, ergonomically enhanced, mobile assembly fixtures to improve worker productivity, comfort, and safety. The distribution centers will be used to automate order fulfillment.
