SI SYSTEMS BRAND TO REV UP HARLEY-DAVIDSON ASSEMBLY SYSTEM

EASTON, PA — May 1, 2002 – SI Production and Assembly Systems, a branded division of Paragon Technologies Inc. (AMEX:PTG), a leading supplier of “smart” material handling solutions, including systems, technologies, products and services, has been engaged by Harley-Davidson Motor Company to design, build, and install a state-of-the-art motorcycle assembly system. The new installation will be used for final assembly and testing of an existing model line of Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

The system will be installed in a new manufacturing facility currently under construction at the existing York, Pennsylvania, site, and will incorporate SI Systems’ in-floor towline technology with innovative proprietary features. The system will be the fourth such system SI Systems has provided for Harley-Davidson since 1997.
